- partner for international technical or commercial advantage
- raise finance and early stage funding in Brazil and Europe
MBD offers services in international trade, alternative health technologies, information technology and hardware & software customised solutions through a network of associates and strategic partners worldwide that bring synergistic solutions.
Example areas where we have been or are involved with include high tech instrumentation, organic and natural products, functional foods, medical thermography, organic farming, wireless Internet solutions, web services for transport & logistics, industrial & domestic advanced water filtering, and e-shop automation.
MBD was founded by Dr Gerson Machado in Belo Horizonte MG Brazil in 2002 and currently has associates in Brazil, Germany, UK and USA. We have a strategic alliance with TFI of Cambridge UK (http://www.tfi-ltd.co.uk), Mesopartner of Germany (http://www.mesopartner.de) and TechSteel of Belo Horizonte Brazil (http://www.techsteel.com.br). We have a strong track record in providing accelerated cooperation among distributed research, development and manufacturing facilities worldwide as well as in start-up company creation in Brazil and Europe for high tech and international trade opportunities, using our triple-helix method.
We also represent in Latin America:
Intelligent Micro Patterning of Florida USA (http://www.intelligentmp.com): maskless photolithography technology for MicroElectroMechanical (MEMS) Devices, High Density Packaging, Multi-Chip Modules (MCMs), Fiber Optic and DWDM Components, Optoelectronic Devices, Failure Analysis, Microfluidic and BioMEMS Structures, and Thin Film Processing Applications;
FairField Sensors of Manchester UK (http://www.farfield-sensors.com): Structurally Informed Drug Discovery, Science of Soft Surfaces, Molecular Interaction Analysis. Farfield also has a revolutionary new platform technology for protein characterisation. This new optical analysis technique encompassed in the AnaLight® instrumentation range will enable researchers to make significant advances in the understanding of the mechanisms of disease and analysis of molecular functionality for a number of application areas. We offer the ability to continuously monitor the kinetics of protein interactions and to have the sensitivity to detect for example the very early stages of aggregation. The technique offers an extra dimension by employing two polarisations (i.e. measurement of density at the chip surface) that is not available with other optical techniques. Real time measurements of film thickness and density have been obtained using the method with a film thickness resolution of 0.1Å and densities of less than picogrammes per millimetre squared.
We also research the use of advanced thermal infrared imaging technology (http://www.termomed.com) together with nutritional supplementation and propotherapy (using ultra green baccharis dracunculifolia propolis from Minas Gerais Brazil) to help preempt degenerative diseases and particularly breast cancer.
We have formal and informal associations with various other companies in IT, wireless, advanced water filtering for clinics, businesses and residences, control, medical and semiconductor instrumentation, natural health and natural pharmaceutical products worldwide. Please consult with us about your business or R&D needs.
